JOB TITLE: Child Abuse Response Coordinator 

Job Summary: The Child Abuse Response Coordinator (CARC) is responsible for facilitating collaborative relationships
with partner and community organizations and for leading efforts to ensure coordinated response to
child abuse and neglect cases through the effective implementation of the MDT model. The CARC
coordinates and trains the Crawford and Sebastian County Multidisciplinary Teams to provide a
consistent, team-decision-making approach to child abuse investigations. The CARC will orient all new
members to the team, as well as develop and maintain good relationships with all members. The CARC
maintains an environment of respect and collaboration so that all agencies can share information and
work together to respond to child abuse. The CARC identifies and addresses training needs for the team
and facilitates regularly scheduled and special case reviews. The CARC prepares for and leads monthly
meetings of the Crawford and Sebastian County Multidisciplinary Teams.
