What to Expect

You have just received a call from one of our investigative partners and an appointment has been scheduled for your child to come to the Hamilton Center for Child Advocacy.   You may have a lot of questions such as What happens next? or What should I expect? 

The Hamilton Center is a safe, child-friendly place where interviews and/or services can be provided to children who may have been victims of abuse and their families. We work with a team of professionals, including law enforcement, the State Police(CACD), and the Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS). When you come to the Hamilton Center, you will be able to meet the professionals working on your child’s case and ask them further questions.
